ADAH is a humanitarian; an educationist and a human rights advocate with over 21 years of experience in the public and non-profit sectors. Adah holds a bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Yaoundé, Diplomas in Education from ENS Bambili and Yaoundé, and a Master's in Decentralization and Humanitarian Action from the International Relations Institute of Cameroon (IRIC). She has experience in violence prevention, conflict prevention, conflict resolution, sexual reproductive health of adolescents, human rights, peacebuilding, psychosocial and mediation focused at strengthening grassroots and stakeholder’s engagement in community development. She is founder and the Executive Director of Mother of Hope Cameroon-MOHCAM. She is also Co-Founder and Coordinator of the Women Peacebuilder’s Network-WOPEN. She is member of the Steering Committee of the Cameroon National Peace Convention. She is the co-lead of the Gender in Humanitarian Action (GiHA) Group in the North West Region.
As a frontline and advocate for peace, in 2018, Adah led the first women sit down lamentation for peace in the North West Region with over 350 women, which has led to a significant increase of women’s effective participation in the peace process in the North West and South West. She has trained over 15000 women and youths with effective participation as community mediators with the collaboration of the municipal councils. Adah’s contribution to improve the wellbeing and rights of underprivileged women and girls in Cameroon, earned her with many awards and recognitions like award from Plan International Cameroon in 2017 for the Best girl Initiative and the Women Peace Award 2021 from the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon. Adah is Christian of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon. A dedicated member of the Christian Women Fellowship (CWF).
