GLADYS is an educationalist, a development and humanitarian expert. She holds a BSc. (Hons) Double Major in Women Studies, Sociology and Anthropology. She also holds a Post-Graduate Diploma Master’s in Education. She has skills in conflict management, resolution and prevention of violent conflicts. She has implemented activities that promote respect for human dignity, change, peace, reduce poverty, gender inequalities and promote development of rural and urban communities. She published a Manual on Peace Education in schools in 2022. She is the Research Officer of WOPEN. She is the programs officer of the Community Resource Centre for the Disabled and Disadvantaged (CRCDD) Bamenda. Since 2016, she has been engaged in peace processes and is one of the women ’s frontline activist who organized the first sit down lamentation in the North West region in 2018. Gladys is a lover of culture and “she believes that getting actively involved is better than staying silent and waiting for eminent death”.
